Design & Features
The tower, designed by Gensler, features a seven-segment stepped design, reflecting traditional Chinese aesthetic proportions while incorporating local Jia Geng-style architectural elements. Its exterior resembles a soaring pagoda, capable of withstanding 17-level typhoon winds, and will become a landmark “sky reception hall” integrating office, hotel, and commercial functions.
The commercial podium, named CCCC Jimei Shopping Center, is inspired by “mountains, islands, and sea” to create a stylish yet natural consumer environment. Advanced technologies including BIM, IoT, big data, AI, and a self-generation, surplus-grid feeding power system are applied, establishing a low-carbon, efficient energy system.
Egret West Tower, along with Egret East Tower and Wuyuan Bay Cultural Exhibition Garden, forms a key node of the “Seaside Garden” city skyline. As a “Double Hundred Billion” priority project in Xiamen, it will serve as a landmark for finance, corporate headquarters, and luxury commercial spaces in the region.
