I. Introduction to Bengbu Medical College First Affiliated Hospital Cardiovascular Center Project
Overview
The Cardiovascular Center Project covers approximately 268 acres, with a total building area of 420,000 square meters and a total investment of about 2.5 billion RMB, planning for 2,000 beds.
The project integrates intelligent digital systems and eco-friendly design, with meticulously planned medical, technical, and administrative areas. Once completed, it will be a modern provincial-level medical center with comprehensive functionality, specialized disciplines, advanced diagnosis and treatment, and a patient-friendly environment.
Location & Layout
Located in Longzihu District, Bengbu City, the project is bounded by Xuehai Road to the west, Xueyuan Road to the north, Fengxiang West Road to the south, and is near the Bengbu South High-Speed Railway Station.
Construction Progress
Construction officially started on May 20, 2022. The main structure was topped out on May 17, 2023, and by 2025, the external curtain wall is expected to be nearly completed, with 85% of interior decoration finished. Full project completion and commissioning are planned before the 2025 Spring Festival.
Medical Departments
The center will focus on cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, with initial departments including Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Rehabilitation Medicine, Intensive Care, and Emergency Departments.
Once completed, this center will serve Bengbu, Anhui Province, and surrounding regions, improving medical conditions, optimizing resources, and enhancing overall healthcare service capacity.
