Chengdu Sanwayao Sewage Treatment Plant is located at the Fu River in the southern suburbs of Chengdu.
The urban area of ​​Chengdu is high in the northwest and low in the southeast. It is planned to be divided into 5 drainage areas. Among them, the sewage from the second drainage area flows into the Sanwayao Sewage Treatment Plant through a reinforced concrete main pipe with a diameter of DN 2200 mm. The service area is about 5,800 ha. The scale of the first phase of the sewage treatment plant is 100,000 m3/d, and the long-term scale is 400,000 m3/d, with a total variation coefficient of 1.3. Domestic sewage accounts for 70% and industrial sewage accounts for 30%. The first-phase project design considers the combination of short-term and long-term in the layout.
The first phase of the Chengdu Sanwayao Sewage Treatment Plant was completed in May 1986. The preliminary design was completed in September of the same year. The construction drawing design was completed in early 1990. The ground was broken at the end of 1989, and it was completed and put into operation in 1991. The total project investment is 81,893,200 yuan, of which the sewage treatment system is 31.7554 million yuan and the sludge disposal system is 17.7311 million yuan (based on the 1990 quota). Covers an area of ​​153 acres.
The incoming water quality is: BOD5 200 mg/L, SS 260 mg/L, pH 6.5~8.0. After treatment, the effluent quality is: BOD5≤20 mg/L, SS≤30 mg/L; pH 6.5~8.0. In terms of process flow, the sewage treatment adopts blast-aeration activated sludge method two* biochemical treatment process; the sludge treatment adopts sludge thickening, after secondary digestion, and belt filter dewatering before being transported out.
The process flow, pool type and equipment selection of Chengdu Sanwayao Sewage Treatment Plant are all based on reducing energy consumption. Reduce infrastructure investment, reduce labor intensity, stable and reliable operation, and convenient management. The sewage treatment part adopts new technologies such as Zhong’s grit chamber, microporous aerator, and radial flow secondary sedimentation tank with surrounding water inlet and surrounding water outlet. The sludge treatment part uses air flotation to increase the concentration of the sludge (the solid content of the sludge into the digester is 4%), thereby reducing the volume of the digester and the heat required for heating the sludge. Energy-saving equipment such as 250WDL type water pump and BID125~1.68/1.0 type centrifugal fan was selected for equipment selection. At the same time, automatic slag removal mechanical grille, Zhong’s grit tank, microporous aerator, secondary sedimentation tank suction and scraping were introduced. Mud machine, digester heating and mixing equipment, belt filter press, test instrument and other equipment to save energy and reduce labor intensity.
The total installed capacity of the equipment is about 3400 kW, the average power consumption is about 39,800 kWh/d, and the power consumption for processing 1 m3 of sewage is about 0.4 kWh; the biogas production rate is 6.5~9.5 m3/m3 of sludge (new mud); digester consumption Heat 2.29~35,300 kcal/m3 of sludge.
