In order to meet the demand for increasing sewage volume in Baoshan area, improve sewage treatment capacity, reduce pollutant discharge, and improve the water quality of Wanzaobang and its tributaries, the construction of Taihe Sewage Treatment Plant has been put on the agenda.

Taihe Sewage Treatment Plant is located in the area enclosed by the green belt on the north side of the planning Gongfu Road, Meilin Road, Tailian Road and Wanzaobang in Baoshan District, Shanghai. The planned total scale of the sewage plant is 550,000 to 600,000 m3/d. The construction scale of the first phase of the project is 400,000 m3/d, and the scope of engineering services includes Huanxi Second Avenue and Wenchuan Road in the west, Outer Ring Road and Meipu River in the north, Gonghexin Road and Beisitang in the east, and Zoumatang and Wenzao in the south. The area surrounded by Bangsong, Baosteel Wusong Industrial Zone and the six tributaries of Suzhou Creek serve the area, with a total service area of ​​about 115km2.

Since the project is located within the Shanghai Outer Ring Road (S20), it belongs to the downtown area of ​​Shanghai, and the surrounding area is close to residential areas. The nearest community is less than 200m away from the sewage plant land. Therefore, in order to minimize the impact of the operation of the sewage plant facilities on the surrounding environment At the same time, it also meets the control requirements of land use planning. Project construction scale and goal

The total planned scale of Taihe Sewage Treatment Plant is 550,000 to 600,000 m3/d, and the construction scale of the first phase of this project is 400,000 m3/d (including civil construction facilities for sludge treatment and tail water discharge pipes to be completed in one time on a long-term scale). In order to reduce the overflow pollution in the rainy season, and to meet the requirements for regulation and storage of sewage treatment plant maintenance and accidental discharge, the project will also build a new system storage tank with a volume of 150,000 m3.

 

The effluent quality of Taihe Sewage Treatment Plant complies with the Grade A standard of “Pollutant Discharge Standards for Urban Sewage Treatment Plants” (GB18918-2002), and the ammonia nitrogen and total phosphorus meet the Class IV standard of “Surface Water Environmental Quality Standards” (GB3838-2002) , The tail water is discharged into Weizaobang; the sludge is treated until the moisture content is less than or equal to 40% and then transported to the Shidongkou sewage plant for centralized treatment and disposal; the odor treatment is in accordance with the Shanghai local standard “Urban Sewage Treatment Plant Air Pollutant Discharge Standard” (DB31/982—2016) Exhaust cylinder and factory boundary emission limits.
