1. Introduction of Xiamen Metro Line 1:

Line 1 runs through Xiamen from north to south, connecting important groups such as Siming District, Huli District and Jimei District. Passing through the prosperous old city, the site is surrounded by dense buildings, the stratum is rich in water and sand, the underground pipelines are intricate, the interval boulders and bedrock bulges are serious, and the geological conditions are very complicated. It is currently the most difficult subway line in construction.

Xiamen Metro Line 1 is the first opened line of Xiamen Metro and the first north-south line in the Xiamen Rail Transit Line Network. It is operated by Xiamen Rail Transit Group Co., Ltd. The line was partially started on November 13, 2013 , The construction was fully started in April 2014, the whole line was completed in March 2017, and the trial operation began on December 31, 2017.

Xiamen Metro Line 1 has a total length of 30.3 kilometers and a total of 24 stations, including 17 general stations and 5 transfer stations. There are 7 transfer stations in all stations. The line will set up a Gaoqi parking lot in the northern part of the island, and a Qigou comprehensive maintenance base in the north of Jimei New City. Xiamen Metro Line 1 operates from 6:30-22:30 throughout the day. The one-way operation time from Zhenhai Road Station to Yannei Station is 52 minutes. The operating speed is 35km/h, and the maximum speed is 80km/h. The Xiamen Metro Line 1 vehicles are composed of 6 B-type vehicles, which can carry about 1,400 passengers.
